About us

Tipton Camera Club, formerly Tipton Photographic Society, was formed in 1968 and is now in it 55th year. We moved to our current meeting venue at St. Pauls Community Centre in 1988.

The club meets on Wednesday evenings at the centre from 7.15pm until 9.45pm and we hold a full program of events throughout the year, which means that there is something for all members. As part of the program we hold regular competitions, prectical evenings and nights out.

So no matter whether you are a complete beginner wanting to improve or a more experienced photographer you will be made welcome and there is always plenty of help and advice available from members.

The club aims to encourage amateur photographers at all levels and of all ages to obtain greater pleasure from their hobby in the company of their fellow enthusiasts.
